alternative to the much more expensive yellow sapphire or yellow
diamond. To create wonderful multi-coloured jewellery, it is often

Citrine can be easily scratched. Citrine often permanently changes
colour if left in the sunlight for several hours.
Most citrine on the market is heat treated amethyst.
